Magazine publication information!
The August vol. 71 issue of Arena 37°C SPECIAL featuring Λucifer will go on sale 6/26!!!!!
It’ll have more pages than originally planned!!!!!
It’s an article full of gratitude about a band seven years after their break-up♪
When YUKI saw the group photos, he was caught off guard and shouted:
“It’s Λucifer!” (lol)
It’s a strange nostalgic sort of feeling.
Please do get a copy of it!
After we were done with shooting, the five of us went to have ramen together for the first time in seven years.
By chance, the restaurant we went into had lots of autographs of famous people on the walls.
I found Shokotan‘s there, too! (note: Atsuro plays/has played guitar in her backing band)
Even TWO BEAT? (note: old manzai comedy duo from the 70’s) How many years has it been?
Even the cheapest ramen was around ¥1,000!!! Too expensive!!!
Braised shark fin ramen was ¥2,600!!!
I took this photo on my iPhone right away.
Everyone’s hungrily slurping down their ramen and wholeheartedly agreeing it’s delicious.
As is usual with this band when eating ramen, everyone was completely silent (lol)
Incidentally, the restaurant is in Yuurakuchou, close to the Kokusai Forum where we played our final live.
Wow, even the cheapest one can get you a Gundam model, I won’t eat there XD. The picture is too dark, but I think the guy with the cap is Santa.
Anyway, this is one good job from you, with blog translations like this we can feel somewhat closer to them. And maybe you can put a picture from Santa’s blog about something that was similar to the band’s logo?
And also, I’m still waiting for you reviews on every releases by the band, like you said before.
Hey e.MU fan. How come you didn’t vote for the last option in the poll? 😀
Yeah, that seems like a pretty expensive deal. But hell, I’d eat there just because I know Aucifer has. I’m such a fanboy. 😛 And yeah, my guess is the cap is Santa, hat is Makoto, black hair is Towa and the hand is Yuki, hehe. As for the Santa blog entry you mentioned… I completely missed that one! Argh! Damn you, eyes, pay better attention! Anyway, I’ll definitely have to get on that. Thanks for the heads up!
As for the promised reviews… still going to be a while. I expect to be pretty busy next month so I’m not sure I’ll even have time to update this blog in as timely manner as I should. Blame the girlfriend, not me. 🙂 I’ll see about those reviews later in the summer, you’ve my word!
PS. Your Japanese seems good since you even caught the Aucifer reference in that Santa post! If you ever feel like translating anything like that for practice and/or fun on this site, that’d be cool by me. Or hell, anything else Aucifer-related you’d like to post about for that matter, such as reviews or your “how I got into Aucifer” story or whatnot. I could make you a posting account. Just let me know if that’s something you might be into.
Well, I can say that Λucifer is my number 1, e.MU would be my number 1.5 😀
About the picture, all I can see is Atsuro’s face and the cap (because it’s white) 😛
I never got into all these blogging stuffs, so I don’t really know how to do those things, but I can always give comments, suggestions, or even arguing with you about who’s better, Atsuro or Yuki XD
And for the Japanese thing, all my credits go to google translate 😀
Ah alright then, fair enough. 😛
The picture isn’t that dark for me… maybe turn up your monitor’s brightness? You should be able to see stuff more clearly in there. You can also click the picture bigger.
Gotcha. Well, the blogging thing is not hard to do at all, at least not with WordPress (which is what I’m using). Let me know if you change your mind though! As for the two guitar gods, I love them equally… but Yuki for life!!
Well, Google Translate would translate the “リュシ” to “Lucy” though… so you still had the skill to know better! 🙂
My monitor brightness is already at 98%, I guess an almost 10 year old junk just won’t do the magic anymore.
I’m trying to learn Japanese as hard as I can (just can’t let some money go to waste after I bought 2 or 3 books to learn it!!), but since I’m also crazy for some other things, mostly football, and my working hours keep me hell busy, so I guess I will take more time than expected.
And I will also try to do some blogging (elsewhere) before I can join this blog, because an amateur is just not enough for a blog about a band as big as Λucifer.
Hehehe, it’s probably your monitor then, yes. A new one might not be a bad idea. 😉
Yeah, I figured you were learning. I can see how work and other interests might get in the way/slow down your progress, but there’s nothing wrong with taking your time with it I say. At least it sounds like you’ve already taken the first step and actually started. That’s already a victory in itself, and the only way from there is up, yeah? 🙂
The band itself might be big — definitely they’re one of my fave J-rock bands — but the international fanbase sure isn’t. At least not if going by the very modest number of hits this site gets. 🙂 And hey, I’m nothing if not an amateur. Anyway, point is that the only thing that matters is that you have a passion for the band. I went ahead and stubbornly made an account for you anyway, just so you can see how it looks like. 🙂 Check your email for the user/pass.
OK, I signed in and updated my profile. Maybe I can try to do more in the future.
Just one thing… what’s with sexy Atsuro???????
Okay, cool! The profile thing doesn’t actually show up anywhere (that I know of?) but I made you your own “about” page. You should be able to edit it if you ever feel the need to.
As for sexy Atsuro… I dunno. I found it fitting somehow. 😀
