Acid Black Cherry to cover SIAM SHADE’s famous song

This isn’t so new, but got me excited, so why not post it here? 😉
Yuki’s other band, Acid Black Cherry is going to participate on SIAM SHADE Tribute Album, on sale at 27th October. The song they are going to cover? It’s called 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou, the one used as the opening theme of Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X anime. I think most of anime freaks (like myself) can never forget that song, can’t imagine how proud it is to be given the chance to cover it in the band’s tribute album. Let’s be happy for Yuki, Yasu and the others!! Care to buy? It’s right here.

Hehe, yasu sure likes his cover songs! Rurouni Kenshin was some good stuff but strangely I didn’t remember the song before checking out the vid. Interestingly, this is now the second Rurouni Kenshin theme Λucifer has a connection with — Atsuro plays guitar on Shokotan’s cover of the second opening “1/2”. Here’s to hoping they’re involved with the first opening “Sobakasu” next! 😀

PS. Was definitely a great idea to bring you on-board! Though I might seem to be on top of things… honestly half the time I’ve no clue what’s going on — case in point, these last three posts you made, it was all news to me! 😛 So anyway, you’re a good man GN-0015! Shokotan made a cover of that one? Gotta check it out soon! Talk about Rurouni Kenshin songs, I hope Tactics (by The Yellow Monkeys), Kimi ni Fureru Dake de (by CURIO), and the banging song Dame (by You Izumi) will get covered too. About Sobakasu, that song was a bit “too cute”, got to pick the right girl to do it.
P/S: Thank you dude, glad to hear that cus I think doing things here is fun. Just hope to improve at my Japanese (even though it’s like I’m not progressing at all for the last few weeks 🙁 ), then I can do some translation without using the “Googre Transrate”, which is famous for it’s Engrish 😀
